The hours and frustration putting the purchases together, enter into the "value" equation for me, and I usually wind up buying elsewhere.

Off to shop for blue de travail boxers...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8139328.post-72892742076552679682008-02-22T00:19:00.000-05:002008-02-22T00:19:00.000-05:00IKEA housewares are acceptable. I think every abbreviation on that label corresponds to the countries' internet domains.

One thing that makes me glad I studied Swedish (very useful, thank you very much) for a little over six months is that I can chuckle knowingly about a lot of the IKEA product names. Sorry to take the romance out of it, but it seems like a huge number of them are just Swedish geographical place names. Anything ending in "-vik" usually refers to a bay or city on a bay. Sadly, I think "Toftbo" is just a place in Denmark. No poetry in the global big-box marketplace, I'm telling you....Joehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02957861827918606478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8139328.post-69030349229550648782008-02-21T16:37:00.000-05:002008-02-21T16:37:00.000-05:00How modern, they seem to be using the internet suf...How modern, they seem to be using the internet suffixes.
