The catholic church cannot afford to be on the wrong side of this issue.

Where is the compassion of the gay mafia running the church? The whole world knows about Cardinal Mahoney.

It would be great if this was the fight Mahoney cannot win.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8139328.post-5372958675812090642009-01-24T10:19:00.000-05:002009-01-24T10:19:00.000-05:00That's what happens when you believe and work for ...That's what happens when you believe and work for a cult...."Fairness" has nothing to do with it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8139328.post-43447919067749600832009-01-24T09:06:00.000-05:002009-01-24T09:06:00.000-05:00Can you post this on Bilerico? Boy have they ever!

You report a grave injustice, but unfortunately one that the Church will not even see as injustice. Once one decides that one is on the side of heaven and the angels, there is no evil to what a person can do. I feel for Fr. Geoff. I don't think most people understand how precarious is the situation of priests and former priests. The Church holds all the cards. There are no guaranteed retirement benefits if one leaves, no health care, no transitional assistance. And there are enough vindictive clergy to make the possibility of even a good letter of reference a difficult thing to obtain.Sebastianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01187627097284114180noreply@blogger.com
