La Donna è Mobilephone ?

In front of Lincoln Center.

Where the operatic performances are not confined to indoor stages.

Don't miss the little sigh of satisfaction this diva makes at the end of her aria.

Wow. Also ugh. But such drama.

That girlish little sigh is like the flash of green at the last instant as the sun drops below the Pacific horizon.

  3. I suppose she contributes to the colour of the city but still - I'd have rather not have seen this. Displays of raw emotion do a number on me.
But I prolly woulda recorded her too.

  4. Dear Tank,
The little thing she does at the end changed our entire impression of her. It's not anguish and despair. It is drama. Acting out. God knows the quality of the person at the other end. She kept it up for about an hour while occasionally cruising men who passed her.

  5. As irritating as I find public cell phone use, I have to say it has added a whole new depth to street theater.
