If he means to ask whether I have ever known a thruple to be happy and energized by their arrangement, I'd say yes. If however he is asking whether I've known a thruple to stay together in their existing arrangement for longer than several months, I would have to say no. In fact, a retrospective analysis of all the thruples I have known, each and all of them have ended with one of the original couple choosing the new suitor over the old.
