the flight from hawai'i to nyc is way too expensive, otherwise, i think it would be kick ass to attend. i have been to nyc two times and i was the dumbstruck tourist walking around looking up at all the buildings. and talking to everyone. and i was surprised that people in NYC actually TALKED BACK. and were friendly. i was warned ahead of time and all those warnings were totally bullshit.
I'll be there, arriving some time after 10, the way the schedule looks. Flight arrives 846pm. Probably take two hours to get from airport to the Y to check in, and then to HK.
