Red Hook Garden

We wandered through the Red Hook neighborhood in Brooklyn. Low rise, big sky and lots of pocket gardens.
(Having fun rediscovering the filters of Photoshop. Not sure why I'm fixating on vanishing brick.) Click the pic to make the poppies pop.

The garden shots are lovely, but I would have thought you might devote a line or two and mention the brand new friend that the farmboyz met Saturday night at The Eagle. Remember him? His name is Stephen, he’s Portuguese and you adopted him into your circle of friends? LOL Now that I've found your great blog, I was hoping to get to know you all a bit better…

Oh Oh Oh! The next time you are in Red Hook you must have dinner at my cousin's restaurant - The Good Fork - on Van Brunt at the corner of Dikeman.
