Just because
A fraction of the stuff we see and do in New York makes it into this little boutique blog. Sometimes I sift through forgotten files and find snippets that I had forgotten. Like this. In some art gallery.
You know, Marco, art like this is a youthful and exuberant perusal of new materials and possibilities. I always find it interesting even if disposable. I always admire the young artist who is exploring new ways of expression, even when his/her product is entertaining more than intelligent.
(I didn't check the prices, but this was in a temporary gallery space - an empty storefront - and I am guessing that it could have been yours for much less than $5,000.)

Was this during an earthquake? And, of course, I wonder what the sculpture is called? I am only guessing that the piece will sell for around $250,000.

I am reminded of the circulatory system when i look at it.
