This one has been kicking about for years. I never liked it. Twice it dried and twice I sanded it down to the basic shapes. I let it sit in a stack in the cellar for two years, and decided yesterday to finish it or pitch it. This is what we looked at from our bedroom window in Ptown. I painted this view four times. Two were shown and when they sold, I wanted to contact the buyers and ask them what they could possibly feel when they look at them, they who never wondered, as did I, who lived in that little house in the center. C made a few good suggestions which I followed, and now it's as done as it ever will be.

I like it. Someone in the upstairs window is wondering about you....

I really like it, if that helps. It's an interesting light, though - what time of day is it based around? Greg
Its strangely beautiful in an eerie way, your a very talented man xx
P.s is there anything you CAN'T do, you seem to be a dab hand at EVERYTHING!!
I think it's good.
Lovely colors. Provincetown is so...paintable. A friend who lives there says that artists have always been aware that the quality of "cape light" allows painters to see colors and shapes in a spectrum different from much of the rest of the world. That would look lovely in this room which is adorned by two watercolor prints of Provincetown.
It's glorious. What is the structure on the horizon? Is it a lighthouse? I love the way the houses peer through a filigree of trees. If you ever decide to pitch it, please do so this way!
Ptown appears to occupy a mythic region of your psyche. Is it the place to which you always go back?
You are a very talented man. Not only can you write beautifully, but you are an accomplished painter as well. *jealous sigh* Not to mention you were endowed with those fabulous Southern Italian good looks, what's fair in this life, I ask?
gorgeous. i wish that were my house, there in the center.
