The future of art

In the future the walls of our homes will undulate constantly with this sort of thing. They will be either home-made or purchased.

πάντα ῥει - panta rei - everything flows from defetto on Vimeo.

PS: You should check out all of Defetto's videos, especially Tapeworm and Hello World. I am full of envy and frustration because i don't have the ability to make this kind of thing.

I'm not sure I see the big "whoop" in this?

It's like a lava lamp for your wall...or whatever.

Eric,
I think his stuff is better than most. It's not just a wallowing in newer digital art capacity, but a fine deployment of the tech. Defetto would probably be good even with fingerpaint.

My walls will not be featuring this even if it becomes mandatory. I think I'd become seasick living with that.

Which isn't to say I don't think it's interesting, I just don't want it in my home.

OK, I shut everything down, then rebooted and the site began to work for me. I saw something that was like a new age etch-a-sketch and several things that looked like screen savers. Not sure I get the point, but I take back my previous remark: Philip Glass is miles ahead of this.
