A Parisian acquisition

About ten years ago, C began a conversation with someone while we were riding the Paris metro. The man claimed to have invented this.

He had several with him. C bought one from him. Easy to pack.

We came across it while going through stuff we haven't looked at in years. We are keeping it.

Have you guessed what it is? Go here for the answer.

I couldn't figure it out, try though I did. This is way cool. I'd keep it, too!

By all means, good to have. I guessed a grip for opening jars, which wasn't so far off. Difficult to gauge the scale in the picture sans tête.

Amazing. I wonder if you can invent some other creative use for it. Fruit basket? Spaghetti strainer? hehe...

You can't throw away something that hideous. It should be preserved forever.

Ugh. Doesn't it yank out your hair if you take it off? I have little enough as it is.

Wow, that was completely unexpected - I was thinking "oven mitt". It made me chuckle aloud.
