Every day

Every day, I swim in the ocean.
To the shore, I sing various ballads.
I make wishes (prayers) for the happiness of those I know,
and, I make faces in the elevator,
fully aware of the surveillance camera.

You're a marvel of a man and an inspiration.

I make faces too, but that's easy, the cameras are impersonal, any guards watching just extensions, extra hardware plugged into the system.

My goal is to work up the courage to stand in the elevator backwards, facing away from the doors - whether others get on or not.

We listen, we smile, and we sure wish we could see.

It's also fun to perform a soul kiss with your fella in front of those cameras. I can't decide which reaction I would prefer, disgust or excitement.
